The Challenge
Porkhun Group had highlighted a need to migrate their IT infrastructure to gain the benefits of the cloud. The main drivers behind this were the wish for increased flexibility, scalability, and ease of IT management, along with reduced maintenance time and costs. Porkhun Group highlighted AWS as the platform upon which to build their infrastructure and found Roopu Cloud their best partner for migrating to the cloud.
The Solution
Roopu Cloud hosted a workshop at Porkhun Group’s office to develop a roadmap of how to migrate their infrastructure and services to AWS. Roopu Cloud defined the AWS architecture meeting Porkhun Group‘s needs using EC2, ALB, ElastiCache, RDS, S3, and EFS. Roopu Cloud performed the migration and delivered a turn-key solution and relevant training to Porkhun Group.
Results
Porkhun Group was able to start moving its IT infrastructure to the cloud smoothly and easily, eliminating the need for any local service. Porkhun Group saved 20% on server and data centre maintenance. Backups are much cheaper now through the cloud rather than saving locally on hardware and security has also increased.
Our collaboration continues as Porkhun Group’s trusted advisor, providing continuous support, fostering guidance, and levering our internal skills to advance their mission.

AWS services and products used during the project are: EC2, ALB, ElastiCache, RDS, S3, EFS, IAM, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, and AWS Config.
